The first PYRN Outstanding Oral Presentation Award was presented to two Carleton University students at the GeoQuebec 2015. The award of $300 CAD was shared by Brendan O´Neill and Marcus Phillips, who gave excellent presentations titled “Permafrost Degradation Adjacent to Snow Fences along the Dempster Highway, Peel Plateau, NWT” and “Improving Water Content Description of Ice-rich Permafrost Soils”, respectively.
