The Permafrost Young Researchers Network (PYRN) is calling for submissions for our Photo and Video Contests.
Submissions will be accepted from 10 March to 20 April. You can submit a photo, moving image or video for the competition by uploading your file(s) on Instagram, tagging @pyrn_official and using the hashtag #pyrn_thebest or by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the topic "PYRN Photo and Video Contest".
Please note that you must be registered as a PYRN member before 20th of April in order to take part in the contest.
If you submit your images and videos to the PYRN Photo and Video Contests, you agree to include them on the official PYRN website (http://pyrn.arcticportal.org). You also agree that your submissions can be included in a slide show, which will be prepared for a slideshow during the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2017 to be held between 23–28 April 2017 in Vienna, Austria. The aim of the slide-show is to share the research activities and inspire the young as well as the experienced researchers.
